Pair of beautiful Drexel “Counterpoint” Nightstands from famed furniture designer John Van Koert. Most known for his work with Drexel, Van Koert put together the “Counterpoint” line of furniture in the mid-1950’s. With Solid mahogany legs & a body wrapped in cherry, these nightstands not only offer beautiful wood grain & sturdy construction, but lesser-seen woods contrary to the walnut you see most often in Mid Century Modern furniture design. The drawers are accented by solid cherry inserts & solid brass “raindrop” pulls.
